Visual Arts

The Visual Arts program at Lollypop Creek Primary School is highly valued and supported by the whole school community. Imagination, expression, and creativity are highly valued and all students from Prep through to Grade 6 participate in our tailored art program.

With a combination of art, craft and design, students explore the Elements of Art: line, shape, space, texture, form, colour, and value to create meaningful 2D and 3D artworks.

They also investigate the works of artists from around the globe, from various historical settings, and learn how to express and challenge their ideas through different art forms.

Aligned with the Victoria Curriculum, students learn through a program that is designed to provide an enjoyable and stimulating environment in which fine and gross motor skills are enhanced. We believe every child is an artist, and aim to create a learning environment that inspires, encourages and supports our students’ artistic endeavours.
