Performing Arts

The Performing Arts program at Lollypop Creek Primary School is a rich 2024 addition to the breadth of specialist offerings at LCPS. ‘The Arts’ curriculum provides so many opportunities for students to grow their interpersonal skills such as learning to collaborate, communicate effectively with others, build self-confidence and resilience.

Our program is aligned with the Victorian Curriculum and throughout the year students express, represent, and communicate ideas in a range of arts forms inclusive of Dance, Drama and Music and for our 3-6 students with the addition of elements of Media Arts.

Each cohorts’ programs are based around the four sub strands of ‘The Arts’ curriculum that are a part of each art form.  The Arts four sub strands are:

• Exploring and connecting

• Developing skills, practice and ideas

• Creating

• Sharing and communicating
